Based at the Morgan Marine Boatyard in Brightlingsea, Essex, Brightlingsea Fishing Charters offer a no-fuss, easy way to get out onto the water with highly experienced skipper Sam, and his crew member, John in their Sportcraft 302 fast offshore fishing boat, 'Miss Ellie II' If you are looking for a great Fishing Charter, look no further!
Prices
£50 per person - for a full days fishing: 8.30am to 4pm (weather permitting)
Rod hire £5 per person
Frozen squid bait supplied free of charge

Our boat
This Sportcraft 302 fast offshore fisherman is an exceptional sea boat. She is a stable fishing platform at anchored powered by a Volvo D6 330HP diesel - complete with fly by wire controls and autopilot. CE Category C for 8. She has nice wide side decks. Pulpit, pushpit and all round hand rails. Lots of rod holders. 2x live bait wells. Rear dive platform with folding boarding ladder. Lifebelts always provided. 4 man life raft + 6 man valise. Fully insured.
An introduction to Brightlingsea
Brightlingsea is a coastal town in the Tendring district of Essex, England. It is situated between Colchester and Clacton-on-Sea, at the mouth of the River Colne, on Brightlingsea Creek. It has a variety of shops, plenty of pubs serving good food and places to stay. Its traditional industries included fishery (with a renowned oyster fishery) and shipbuilding and despite a decline of these industries, the town still popular with sailors, fishermen and holiday makers.

Up to a distance of SEVEN miles out there must be a minimum of THREE anglers per charter.

Over seven miles out the must be a minimum of FIVE anglers per charter.

Everything You Need
Our boat, the 'Miss Ellie II', is moored at Morgan Marine in Brightlingsea. An established boatyard catering for primarily leisure cruisers its easy to find, has plenty of free parking with CCTV, as well as full WC/washroom facilities and a chandlery. Please note our business operates completely independently of Morgan Marine.
